August 13 - Yotes go down to Rochester and lost

Tommy Shepherd collected a couple of hits in a game against Rochester. Rochester is a very talented team who competed in this years state tourny. A couple of new Coyotes played well as IF Zack Hawn scored a couple of runs and left handed pitcher Nick Tuckner pitched 2 innings letting no earned runs acrossed.

August 7th - Yotes lose to a solid Minnetonka Millers club at Big Willow.
 
The Coyote bats were no where to be found. The Yotes only had 3 hits. Andy Larson started but got the loss allowing 4 runs in 5 innings of work. Matt Ruben came in making his debut on the hill for the Coyotes. Ruben pitched 3 shutout innings in relief. The hits came from Seivert, Shepherd and Coyote Rookie Zack Hawn.

July 28th - Coyotes go out in first round of playoffs
 
The Coyote jumped out to a five to zero lead but Plums battled back to win 6-5. It was a tough loss. Vitcak pitched very well as only 2 runs were earned.

July 26th - Coyotes lost to Blaine Fusion
 
Coyotes came out flat against a solid Fusion club who played very well. Pat Hermann started in a game that the Yotes didnt come to play.

July 24th- Yotes lost to Liberty O'Garas
 
The yotes got a rally in the first but then the bats were no where to be found as Liberty O'Garas beat the yotes easily.

July 23rd - Rosetown rallies to come back to beat Coyotes
 
Number 1 ranked Rosetown A's rallied from 2 down to beat Yotes. Kyle Balder pitched great.

June 21- Yotes bats go cold and lose to WBL
 
Ben Fladeger pitched 5 innings and Jim Brennen pitched 2. The coyote bats could not get going. Tom Bonine hit a HR over the fence at midway.

June 20th - Yotes lost to Stockmens in a tough game
 
Andy Vitcak pitched great for all 7 innings. Vitcak only allowed 3 earned runs. Eric Johnson had a double and was later knocked in by Matt Albrecht but it was not enough.

June 18 - Yotes beat North End in 8 innings
 
Kyle Balder pitched another great game for the Yotes going 8 innings to pick up the win. Down by 1 in the bottom of the 7th Tom Bonine singled to even up the score and go to extra innings. In the 8th Andrew Temple doubled and later scored on a Scott Seivert game winning hit.

June 17th - Coyotes get back on track with a win over WB Township
 
Led by Scott Seivert who started his first game of the year. The Coyotes got back on track with a 8-4 win over Township. Tim Bonine came out of the pen to seal the deal.

June 13th - Yotes drop sixth in a row to a tough Mud Ducks Team
 
Andy Larson started and was forced out of the game after a line drive hit him the face. Andy looks like he is going to be OK. Please check back for updates.

July 12 - Saints score two in the 7th as Coyotes lose five straight
 
Bonine went 2 and 2/3 giving up three runs before he was forced to leave as his arm grew weary.  Kyle Balder pitched well in a suprise relief appearance shuting down the Saints bats for 3 and 1/3 going into the seventh inning.  The Coyotes gave up 2 in the top of the seventh.  Down by one in the bottom half, Tom Sheppard doubled with one out, and the Coyotes bats couldn't bring him in.  Seivert, Sheppard, and Albrect all collected two hits in the losing effort.

July 7 - Bats stay cold at Midway as the Coyotes drop fourth straight to Glynn Building Products 6-1
 
Andy Larson pitched a good game but didn't get much help from the defense.  Conrad Ladoux scored the Yotes lone run on a rbi single by Eric Johnson.

July 6 - Coyotes drop a heartbreaker 2-1 to West St. Paul
 
Andy Vitcak pitched a great game and Kyle Balder produced the only run of the game with a solo homerun in his second at-bat.  The Coyotes threatened in the 6th and 7th innings but just couldn't get that key hit.

July 2 - The Coyotes fall 10-3 to a hot Tri City Sharks team
 
Scott Seivert ledoff the first with a double and the Yotes put up three runs in the inning, then the bats went cold.  Andy Larson pitched five innings giving up 8 runs on a windy day at Irondale High School.

June 22 - Yotes lost to AFU 9-6 in a tough St Paul League Game
 
Randy Schmidt and Tim Bonine collected a pair of hits and the offense scored 6 against the tough pitching of AFU but it was not enough.  Kyle Balder was the starter and battled with the AFU hitters very well. Jim Brennen came out of the pen and pitched well for the Yotes.

June 21 - Yotes win game over Suncountry led by Hermann
 
Rookie right hander Pat Hermann made his pitching debut and pitched great allowing 1 run with 3 hits over 5 innings of work. The offense was was provided by Tim Bonine and Pat Gieser.

June 20th - Late inning comeback led by Bonine beats Highland Park
 
The Yotes were winning until the 5th inning when Highland Park put together a good inning and take the lead.  Then Tim Bonine drove in a pair of runs to take the lead back and Scott Seivert hit a homer off the Scoreboard at Dunning.  Andy Larson pitched great to improve his record to 4-0.

June 19th - Yotes beat Eastside Merchants with great pitching from Vitcak
 
Andy Vitcak pitched great leading the Yotes to another win. Conrad LaDoux and Randy Schmidt homered to provide some offense.  This was a big win the Merchants are a very solid team in the St Paul League.

June 14 - Yotes beat Joe and Stans 12-4
 
Led by great hitting from OF TJ Ramey and Pat Gieser the yotes got back on track with a win over Joe and Stans.  Kyle Balder picked up his 3rd win of the year with a great pitching perfomance.

June 13th - Yotes lose to Plums
 
Andy Vitcak pitched well but it was not enough as the yotes fell to Plums baseball club. Tom Shepherd and Scott Seivert homered in the game.

June 12 - Coyotes beat St Thomas 5-4 in comeback
 
Led by great pitching by Andy Larson the Yotes beat a very skilled St Thomas team.  The bats were led by DH Dan Kamrath with a pair hits driving in 3 and Tim Bonine who singles in a pair to beat his former club.

June 8th Coyotes win first ever CG Invatational beating the TC Saints
 
The Yotes came out swingin on Sunday scoring 11 runs.  That was plenty for winning pitcher Kyle Balder. Balder improved his record to 2-0. Tommy Shepherd hit his 3rd HR in two games and 2B Erik Johnson hit his 1st HR of the year.

June 7th Yotes win led by Andy Larson's great pitching
 
The Yotes beat the Twin City Blue Sox on the 7th with great pitching from Andy Larson and 2 HRs by Tommy Shepherd.  Catcher Tim Bonine also homered and called a great game behind the plate.

May 30th - Yotes win 3-1 led by Larson and Kamrath
 
The Coyotes bounced back from a tough Rooster loss to beat the Plums 3-1.  Andy Larson pitched great going 7 innings allowing only 1 unearned run and striking out 10.  The offense was supplies by Dan Kamrath who hit a 2 run homer to put the Yotes up for good.

May 31st - Yotes lose in extra innings to Blaine Fusion 6-5
 
Starting Pitcher Kyle Balder pitched great going 6 innings only allowing 2 runs.  Kyle struck out 3.  The offense was solid with Seivert, Bonine, Johnson and Randy Schmidt picking up a couple of hits each.  TJ Ramey and Erik Johnson had 2 rbi each.  But it was not enough as Blaine battled back from 5 runs to win 6-5.

May 18th - Yotes lost to St Paul Roosters 4-3
 
The Coyotes battled back but lost 4-3 to the St Paul Roosters who are ranked fifth in the state.  The Roosters played in the state tourny last.  Andy Vitcak pitched very well only allowing 4 runs to a very good hitting team in the Roosters.  Scott Seivert was the star of the game going 4-4 with 2 rbi, 1 run, and a stolen base.

May 16 - Coyotes win 15-0 over the Lake Elmo Ducks
 
Kyle Balder picked up his first win on saturday for the Coyotes.  Kyle pitched 4 innings allowing 1 hit and no runs.  Then the Manager Mike Schirra turned it over to the great Coyote Bullpen.  Dan Kamrath and Andy Larson combined for 3 innings of shutout baseball.  Currenty the Team ERA for the young season is 0.66.
 
The Coyotes bats broke out in this game hitting 3 HRs.  Tim Bonine and Nick Schirra hit there first HR and Coyote slugger Matt Albrecht hit his second of the year.  Dave Olson, Pat Gieser and Erik Johnson also had big hits for the Coyotes.  The defense was great lead by SS Conrad LaDoux.  This is a big win to go into Sundays game against the St Paul Roosters at Hill Murray.

Coyotes split with the Twin City Saints on May 10th Double Header

  The Coyotes got off to a good start on May 10th. They won game 1 with a great performance from Andy Vitcak.  Vitcak pitched a complete game shutout only allowing 2 hits.  The offense was supplies by Coyote 1B Matt Albrecht 2 run HR.
 
  The Coyotes battled back in Game 2.  Down by 3 late in the game the Schmidt brothers scored on a Dave Olson single and later tying the game at 3.  The Twin City Saints scored in the 7th to steal game 2 and win 4-3.
 
  Overall it was a great day for the Coyotes.  The pitching was great led by Vitcak, Kamrath and Larson.  The Coyotes also showed the ability to battle back which will be important in the long St Paul League schedule against some tough teams. 
Coyote to watch
Andy Vitcak - He pitched very well in his debut in a Coyote uniform.  He pitched a complete game striking out 4.  With good run support he could become one of the best pitchers in the League.
